Global payment firm Paple announced that it has done a tie-up with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). This tie-up is to integrate UPI on the platform of Pay Payal World, so that international payment can be easily done. The company has announced several global partnerships and is a part of it. Till now, it had to depend on foreign services and for this the user had to have special cards and accounts. With the arrival of UPI in the new platform of Paple, shopping abroad will now be a game of jokes.

Speaking on this development, Ritesh Shukla, MD and CEO of NPCI International Payments Limited, said that the integration of UPI on the platform of Peepal World will be an important step towards the global expansion of UPI. He further stated that this is in line with our attitude to make cross -border payments more comfortable, safe and inclusive. This cooperation will increase the facility for Indian users paying abroad and enable global businesses and traders to take advantage of the growing base of UPI users.

This platform will start by providing interoperability between Paple and Venmo and will include UPI in its initial launch. This means that Indian consumers can now shop from international traders and pay using that UPI option. This development has occurred a month after the Payle Holdings Inc.’s Indian subsidiary, PayPal Payments Private Limited (Paypal) from Reserve Bank of India (RBI), a month after the in-principle approval to work as a payment aggregator-cross border-export (PA-E).
