Expressing concern about the unstable economy of the world, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that our farmers, our small origin, employment of our youth, their interests are at the top of us. He further said, so now we will buy those things that some Indians are sweating in making. The Prime Minister mentioned India’s economy and Swadeshi in the last six minutes of his 53 -minute speech.

Addressing a public meeting in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi, Modi said, “Today, when we are talking about economic progress, I want to take your attention to the global situation. Today the economy of the world is going through many apprehensions. There is an atmosphere of instability. In such a situation, the countries of the world are focusing on their interests. Modi said, India is also going to become the third largest economy in the world. That is why India also has to be vigilant about its economic interests. Our farmers, our small origin, employment of our youth, their interests are paramount to us. The government is making every effort in this direction. But we also have some responsibility as a citizen of the country. This thing is not just Modi, every person of India should keep speaking every moment in the day.

He said, any political party, any politician, he will have to awaken the spirit of Swadeshi within the country and in the interest of the country. The Prime Minister said, we will buy those items that some Indians are sweating in making. That item is created by the people of India, made up of the skills of the people of India. The people of India are made of sweat. We have to adopt the Vocal for Local Mantra. Modi said, whatever new items will come in our house, it will be indigenous. Every countryman will have to take this responsibility. He requested traders to sell indigenous goods. He said, the resolve to sell indigenous goods is also the true service of the country. The months of festivals are coming. It is followed by weddings. During this time only indigenous goods should be purchased.

Earlier, the Prime Minister highlighted the government’s farmer-centric policies in detail. He said that our government is constantly working for the prosperity of farmers. Modi alleged that the announcements made in the names of farmers in earlier governments were difficult to fulfill, but the BJP government shows what it says. Describing the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi as an example of the government’s firm intentions, he said that at the time of the scheme started in 2019, the opposition parties used to say that the plan will be stopped after the election or the money will be withdrawn, but will a single installment stop in so many years? PM Kisan Nidhi continues without interruption. He informed that till date a quarter to four lakh crore rupees have been sent to the accounts of farmers. Two and a half crore farmers of Uttar Pradesh have received more than 90 thousand crore rupees, while the farmers of Kashi received Rs 900 crore. The Prime Minister said that you have chosen such an MP that 900 crore rupees have come to your account.

Emphasizing the transparency of the plan, he said, without any cut, commission or middlemen, the money directly reaches the accounts. We have made this permanent system, neither will there be leakage, nor will the rights of the poor be taken away. He said that the development mantra of the government is – the more backward, the greater the priority. The Prime Minister also mentioned the recently approved Prime Minister Dhanya Krishi Krishi Yojana, on which 24 thousand crore rupees will be spent, and its focus will be on the backward districts where agricultural production and income is low. Emphasizing to increase the participation of women in the agricultural economy, Modi referred to the millionaire Didi campaign, which aims to make three crore millionaires Didi. So far, more than 1.5 crore millionaires have become Didi. The Prime Minister mentioned the completion of 10 years of Jan Dhan Yojana, under which bank accounts of 55 crore poor were opened. Now after 10 years, it is necessary to get KYC again. He appreciated the operations of the banks, where millions of people are being done by organizing camps in gram panchayats from July 1. So far this work has been completed in one lakh gram panchayats. The Prime Minister also inaugurated the website, registration portal and QR code related to Kashi MP competition. Referring to the recent MP tourist guide competition, he said that skill development is taking place through the competition. In the coming days, there will be events like Kashi MP photography competition and MP Employment Fair.

On this occasion, two thousand Divyangs of Kashi were provided by Hudco and IDBI under the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana. The Prime Minister personally gave equipment to some beneficiaries. He gave Babli Kumari (visually impaired student) Low Vision Chashma (who was earlier studying at brain kit), Santosh Kumar Pandey and Vikas Kumar Patel to Sports Wheelchair, Kishun to Shravan Yantra and Sita Kumari Pal (teacher) motorized TRAI cycle. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Chief Minister of the state Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Varanasi’s public representatives were present on the occasion.
