Odisha former CM Naveen Patnaik’s health deteriorated, hospitalized hospital in Bhubaneswar, party gave information about health
Biju Janata Dal (BJD) chief and Leader of Opposition in Odisha Assembly Naveen Patnaik was admitted to a private hospital here on Sunday (August 17, 2025) after a complaint of dehydration. His condition is stated stable.
In the bulletin issued by the private hospital, it said, ‘Naveen Patnaik was admitted to SUM Ultimate Medicare in Bhubaneswar at 5:15 pm today. Their condition is stable and health is improving.
Doctors come to the residence for health checkup
Party leaders said that 78 -year -old Chief Minister Patnaik had complained of restlessness on Saturday (August 16, 2025), after which some doctors had come to his residence for health checkup. The BJD leaders had earlier said that Patnaik has been admitted due to age related diseases.
Patnaik underwent surgery for cervical orthritis at a hospital in Mumbai and returned to Odisha on 12 July. Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan wished Patnaik to get well soon.
Odisha CM prayed for good health
Majhi said in a post on ‘X’, ‘I came to know about the disease of Honorable Naveen Patnaik. I pray to Lord Shri Jagannath for his early recovery and good health. Union Education Minister Pradhan said, ‘I have come to know that former Odisha Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik are unwell. I wish Lord Shri Jagannath for his good health and quick health.
Bijad said in a post on ‘X’, ‘Lord Jagannath’s blessings and the people of Odisha are with Naveen Patnaik and their health is improving.’ Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida and State Congress President Bhakta Charandas also wished Patnaik to get well soon.
