Opposition’s EC office against SIR and ‘Vote Theft’, police stopped, Akhilesh Yadav climbed on barricading, video

The Delhi Police stopped the march of India Block leaders from Parliament to Election Commission against the allegations of “Voter Fraud” in the Special Summer Revision (SIR) and 2024 Lok Sabha elections regarding elections in Bihar. During this, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav crossed the police barricade and moved forward.

Akhilesh Yadav criticized the police action
The police have stopped the opposition MPs, after which they are sitting there and staging a sit -in. Samajwadi Party chief and MP Akhilesh Yadav has also crossed the barricade and joined the dharna on the other side. He said that the police is being used to stop us. He made this comment when the police were preventing opposition MPs from marching to the Election Commission and they sat on a dharna to protest.

300 MPs involved in protest, opposition expressed concern
Akhilesh Yadav told reporters that the government is using the police to stop us. In this March, MPs of many parties including Congress, Samajwadi Party, Aam Aadmi Party, DMK are participating. MPs of both houses have raised placards, on which ‘SIR is attacking democracy’ and ‘Vote theft’ slogans have been written. Rahul Gandhi is at the forefront and all the big leaders of the opposition are walking with him step by step.

Delhi Police said protests were done without permission
Delhi Police had earlier said that no permission was taken for this protest. The opposition has expressed concern about fake forms and discrepancies in voter lists and is demanding electronic data for verification.
