All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi said on Monday (September 22, 2025) that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi should not bow down to the administration of US President Donald Trump.

Owaisi reacted to the Trump administration’s decision to increase the H-1B visa fee to US $ 1,00,000, saying it would affect Indians, as about 71 percent of such visa holders are Indian citizens and most of them are from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Owaisi supports Revanth Reddy’s words

Reacting to the demand of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on GST, Owaisi said in a post on ‘X’ that he fully agrees and supports the Chief Minister’s request. Reddy has demanded on Monday that the central government recently compensate the revenue loss to the states for five years by raising GST rates.

Owaisi said, ‘I fully agree and support it with the demand made by Revanth Reddy. The Narendra Modi government should accept this demand and this will help all the states. This will let the country know whether the Modi government believes in federalism or not. The state of Telangana should not be punished for its development.
