PM Modi Bangalore Visit: 3 Vande Green Greetings to India, Inauguration of the Yellow Line of Metro and the foundation stone of the third phase… What gift will be given to Bangalore?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka on Sunday (August 10, 2025), where he will flag off 3 Vande Bharat Express trains from KSR railway station in Bangalore at around 11 am. After this, PM Modi will flag off the yellow line of Bangalore Metro and will ride the metro from RV Road (Ragigudda) to Electronic City Metro Station.
According to the PIB report, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of urban contact projects in Bengaluru at around 1 pm. During this time, we will also address a ceremony.
Bangalore Metro’s Yellow Line will inaugurate
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Yellow line from RV Road (Ragigudda) to Bomasandra under the Bangalore Metro Phase-2 project. The length of this line is more than 19 kilometers and will have 16 stations. About Rs 7,160 crore was spent on this. With the opening of this Yellow line, the operating network of the metro in Bengaluru will be more than 96 km and a large population of the region will get the benefit.
Bangalore Metro Phase-3 will also lay the foundation stone of the project
PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of Bengaluru Metro Phase-3 project costing more than Rs 15,610 crore. The total length of this project will be more than 44 kilometers and will have 31 elevated stations. This infrastructure project will meet the city’s growing transport requirements and meet the needs of residential, industrial, commercial and educational areas.
3 Vande Bharat Express train will show green signal
Apart from this, PM Modi will also flag three Vande Bharat Express trains from Bangalore. These include trains from Bangalore to Belgaum, Amritsar to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Nagpur (Ajni) to Pune. These high-speed trains will significantly increase regional connectivity, reduce travel time and provide world-class travel experience to passengers.
