PM Modi Japan Visit: India-Japan will make bullet train together! You cannot even think that speed, PM Modi can finalize the deal
India and Japan partnership will no longer be limited to Ahmedabad-Mumbai High-speed Bullet Railway Project, but together the two countries can jointly construct the E10 Shinkansen bullet train. According to sources, this important agreement can be announced during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Japan.
This cooperation will further strengthen economic and strategic relations between the two countries. Just as four decades ago, Maruti-Suzuki together brought a revolution in India’s automobile industry, similarly this project can fill new energy in the Indian transport system.
E10 Shinkansen vs. E5 Technology and Speed Difference
India was expected to first get E5 Shinkansen, which has a maximum speed of 320 km per hour. However, due to the deep interest of PM Modi and excellent coordination with Japanese leadership, India can now get E10 Shinkansen, which can speed up to 400 km per hour. The design of E10 Shinkansen has been developed by Japan’s Alfa-X experimental train. Special attention has been given to state -of -the -art security techniques and energy efficiency in this new generation train. This is the reason that it is considered to be the right choice for India’s high speed transport needs.
Ahmedabad-Mumbai high-speed railway project impact
The total length of the Ahmedabad-Mumbai High-speed railway project running under the India-Japan partnership is 508 km. However, there is a lot of delay in this project. Because of this its cost has increased, but Japan is adamant on its commitment. The first 50 km of this project in Gujarat is expected to start by 2027, while the remaining part may be operational by 2029. With the introduction of new E10 technology, not only the future of bullet trains in India will be bright, but the supply of these trains will also be possible to third countries.
Modi-Ishiba summit and future possibilities
Prime Minister Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba will meet at the annual summit in Tokyo on 29 August. After this, the two leaders will travel to Sandai from Shinkansen and will visit a semiconductor plant there. The message of this journey is clear that Japan is very serious about India’s bullet train project.
