PM Modi Japan Visit: PM Modi gave such a gift to Shigeru Ishiba on Japan tour, won the hearts of hosts
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gifted the Ramon Katorians made of silver chopstick and precious gemstone to his Japanese counterpart Shigeru Ishiba. During his visit to Japan, PM Modi presented Pashmina shawl to Ishiba’s wife in a box made of paper pulp (Pepier Mache).
Officials said that these bowls made of ancient precious gems and silver chopsticks are a unique mix of Indian art and tradition of Japanese culinary art. He said that brown bowl and silver chopstick with four small bowls made from ‘Moonstone’ (Chandramani) are inspired by Japan’s Donburi and Soba tradition.
Special Pashmina Shawl worldwide
This bright chandramani brought from Andhra Pradesh is a symbol of love, balance and safety, while the main bowl is Makrana marble, in which semi-precious gems are inserted in the traditional parachinian style of Rajasthan. He said that Pashmina shawl made of fine wool of Changthangi goat of Ladakh is liked worldwide due to light, soft and warm.
This shawl woven by the Kashmiri artisans is cherished by the centuries -old tradition. Pashmina Shawl was once the choice of royal houses. The shawl presented to Ishiba is ‘Ivory’ (yellow white color) is colorful. It has pink and red colored flowers designs, which reflect Kashmiri design and craftsmanship.
PM Modi will participate in SCO summit
Let us know that PM Modi left for China on Saturday (August 30, 2025) to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit after completing a two -day visit to Japan. During Modi’s visit, India and Japan finalized 13 major agreements and announcements, as well as announced several transformational initiatives.
The Prime Minister wrote on the social media ‘X’, ‘This journey to Japan will be remembered for the useful results that will benefit the people of our country. I thank Japan Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, the Japanese public and the government for his warmth.
