PM Modi to Address Nation Live: PM Modi will address the country at 5 pm today, Congress said- ‘8PM is now 5PM’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the country at 5 pm today. It is being speculated that PM Modi can talk about GST reform in his address because tomorrow i.e. 22 September new rates of GST 2.0 are going to be implemented in the country.

Recently, when the US imposed a 50 percent tariff on India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to the citizens to adopt indigenous from a public meeting. He said that adoption of indigenous is not only a means of economic strength, but it is also a way to increase the self -reliance and cultural pride of the country. He has asked the industrialists and the general public to increase the use of local products, which increases employment opportunities and strengthens India’s economy.

When did PM Modi address the country?

-Prime Minister Narendra Modi first addressed the country on 8 November 2016. Addressing the country at 8 pm, PM Modi announced to close 500 and one thousand rupee notes.

-After the removal of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, he addressed the nation on March 27, 2019.

-When the cases of Corona started in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the people of the country on 19 March 2020, appealed for the public curfew.

When Korona started showing havoc all over the world, the cases started increasing in the country, then PM Modi once again addressed the country at 8 pm on March 24 and announced a lockdown across the country.

On April 3, 2020, PM Modi appealed to light lamps in honor of the warriors engaged in emergency works during the Korona period.

-PM Modi once again extended the lockdown to May 3 across the country on 14 April, 2020.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the self -reliant Bharat Abhiyan on May 12, 2020. On June 30, the free ration scheme was extended for six months.

On 20 October, PM Modi gave a message further strengthening the fight against Kovid-19-until the medicine is not lax.

-On November 19, 2021, the Prime Minister withdrew the three agricultural laws while addressing the country. The farmers protested fiercely on the boundaries of Delhi against these laws.

Recently, after the Pahalgam terror attack in 2025, the Indian Army launched Operation ‘Sindoor’. After the success of this campaign, Prime Minister Modi while addressing the nation strongly condemned the terrorist attack and appreciated the bravery of the army.
