After the All India Coordination meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, in a press conference held in Lalsagar on Sunday (7 September 2025). B Promotional head Mr. Sunil Ambekar shared detailed information on the Sangh centenary year plans, including various aspects of education, society and national life.

Mr. Sunil Ambekar informed that special attention was paid to the education sector in the three -day coordination meeting (5–7 September). Various organizations including All India National Educational Federation, Vidya Bharati, Education Culture Utthan Nyas, Indian Education Board and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad shared experiences of implementation of new National Education Policy.

Positive efforts to encourage studies in mother tongue

He said that in order to promote Indian languages ​​in education, positive efforts are being made to encourage studies in mother tongue from primary to higher education. Work on rewriting of books and teacher training for Indianization of Indian knowledge tradition and education is also in progress.

Discussion on the social conditions of the country was also mentioned in the press conference. In Punjab, concern was expressed about increasing conversion and drug addiction among the youth and information was given by Seva Bharti and Vidyarthi Parishad about the awareness and drug addiction campaigns.

Manipur appreciation of peace efforts for incidents

There was serious concern over the infiltration and civil security related challenges from Bangladesh in West Bengal, while the signs of declining violence and increasing development in the northeastern states were considered positive. Dialogue-based peace efforts were appreciated on the recent incidents of Manipur.

In the context of tribal areas, it was told that there has been a decrease in Naxalite and Maoist violence, but efforts to confuse the society are still going on. Work on hostels and tribal rights by Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram was mentioned and the need to deliver Indian tradition and national views to the tribal society was emphasized.

Participation of women increasing in organizations

Detailed information was also given on the plans of the Sangh centenary year. Special programs will be run on subjects like environmental protection, family enlightenment and civil duties. The centenary year will be inaugurated on 2 October 2025 with Vijayadashami festival in Nagpur.

Giving special emphasis on women’s participation, Mr. Ambekar said that yoga-knowledge and study is being promoted among women players on behalf of Krida Bharti. Referring to the 887 programs conducted by women workers under Operation Sindoor, he said that the participation of women in organizations is increasing continuously.

Honoring Indian languages ​​is necessary

In the press conference, ideas were also expressed on topics like conversion, infiltration, Kashi-Mathura and clarified that the solution to these problems would be discovered not by struggle or movement, but by legal and mutual negotiations. On the question of language, he said that primary education should be in mother tongue and respect for all Indian languages ​​is necessary. There is no opposition to English, but Indian languages ​​should get a proper place in education and governance.

Folk singer Anwar Khan presented in the program

Meanwhile, folk singer Anwar Khan performed at the event held on the night of 6 September and Sarsanghchalak greeted him. At the conclusion of the talks, Mr. Sunil Ambekar said that the direction is positive, although more work is expected on some subjects.

He assured that the efforts started on the occasion of the centenary year will continue continuously in the coming years.
