Realme is set to launch its Realme 12x 5G smartphone in India today, joining the lineup of Realme devices already available in the market, such as the Realme 12, Realme 12+, and Realme Narzo 70 Pro. The introduction of the Realme 12x 5G comes at a time of increasing diversity in Realme’s product offerings.

According to information shared by Realme, the 12x 5G will boast support for 45W SUPER VOOC fast charging, enabling the phone’s 5,000 mAh battery to reach 50% capacity in just 30 minutes from a 0% charge. Additionally, Realme has confirmed that the 12x 5G will feature reverse charging capabilities.

Similar to the recently released Narzo 70 Pro 5G, the 12x 5G will also incorporate support for air gestures, allowing users to execute certain actions without physically touching the smartphone. Furthermore, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has disclosed that the 12x 5G will be powered by a 6nm chipset and sport a 120Hz refresh rate display.

Expected Specifications of Realme 12x 5G

The Realme 12x, recently launched in China, may feature similar specifications upon its unveiling in India. The Chinese variant of the 12x offers a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 950 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset paired with the Mali G57 GPU, ensuring smooth performance for graphics-intensive tasks. Running on Realme UI 5.0 based on the latest Android 14 operating system, the device promises a seamless user experience.

In terms of photography, the mid-range smartphone is equipped with a 50MP primary sensor along with a secondary sensor. Additionally, it sports an 8MP front-facing camera to cater to selfie and video needs.

Realme 12x pricing:

Realme has already stated that the 12x will be priced below the ₹12,000 mark in the Indian market, indicating a lower price compared to its predecessor. To recall, the Realme 11x was introduced at a price of ₹14,999 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant.
