PCB has announced a 17 -member team of Pakistan for the 2025 Asia Cup. Senior players like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Nasim Shah, Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed have not got a place in the team. First of all, let us tell you that the 2025 Asia Cup will start from 9 September. The final match of the tournament will be played on 28 September. This time the Asia Cup will be played in T20 format. All matches will be held in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Talking about Pakistan’s playing XI, Sam Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan can start the innings. After this, senior batsman Fakhar Zaman is scheduled to play at number three. It is also confirmed to play young explosive batsman Hasan Nawaz at number four and captain Salman Ali Aga at number five.
