Should intruders be removed from the voter list or not? Amit Shah targeted Rahul Gandhi over Bihar SIR

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday (August 8, 2025) has accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of doing politics in Bihar about the special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list. Addressing an election rally in Sitamarhi district of Bihar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah alleged that Rahul Gandhi and other leaders of the opposition are opposing Bihar SIR simply because the intruders are their vote banks.

Shah said, “Whether the names of the intruders should be removed from the state’s voter list before the Bihar assembly elections? The Constitution of India does not give the right to vote to those who are not born in India.”

Only with the constitution are roaming around, sometimes it should be read and read- Shah

Amit Shah said, “Rahul Gandhi is only roaming around for the copy of the Constitution, he should also open it and read it. They are opposing SIR because the intruders are their vote bank.” In his speech, Amit Shah also appealed to Rahul Gandhi to stop vote bank politics.

He said, “Rahul Gandhi should stop his vote bank politics. Special intensive revision (SIR) is not a new process, it was started by your Parana Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and was last done in 2003. Now that you are losing one election after another, you are already preparing the excuse of defeat in Bihar elections.”

Rjd And Congress leaders are protesting against Operation Sindoor

Apart from this, Amit Shah also criticized the previous UPA governments at the Center. He said, “There were frequent terrorist attacks in India during his tenure. But now India is different under Narendra Modi’s rule. Our soldiers killed the terrorists in their hideouts. But RJD and Congress leaders are opposing Operation Sindoor.”
