On July 31, the Gujarat High Court rejected Langa’s bail plea in the money laundering case on the grounds that if he was released on bail, the prosecution will be adversely affected.

The ED said on 25 February that it linked to alleged financial fraud money Laundering Langa has been arrested in connection with the investigation. Langa was first arrested in October 2024 in a case of GST fraud in October 2024.
