Stray Dogs: Rahul Gandhi angry at the order of Supreme Court to remove stray dogs, said- ‘cruelty’

Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi gave his reaction on the Supreme Court’s decision on Tuesday (August 12, 2025). He described it as one step behind the decades -old human science policy.
Rahul Gandhi posted on the social media platform X and said that the shelter, sterilization, vaccination and community care can protect the roads without any cruelty. Removing the blanket is cruel and it eliminates compassion and dysfunction inside us. We can ensure that the safety and animal welfare of the people go together.
The sc’s directive to remove all stray dogs from Delhi-NCR is a step back from decades of humane, Science-backed policy.

Supreme Court order to remove all stray dogs within 8 weeks
People have mixed opinions on the recent direction of the Supreme Court to remove all stray dogs within eight weeks from Delhi-NCR. This order has created sharp differences among people. While some people have welcomed the move as a relief, some people have criticized it and warned that it can make the struggle of humans and disturbances worse and called it irrational.
Explain that it has been made mandatory in the order of the Supreme Court that dogs should be lifted from the streets and kept in the shelter sites built by the concerned authorities, where they can be taken care of.
