While hearing anti-social expression on freedom of expression and anti-social expression on social media platforms, it is very important for constitutional and democratic values, while there is also a balanced and ideal nation and social system. Describing the need to curb the divisive and destructive tendencies arising due to anti-social expression on social media forums, the country’s apex court has described the need for self-regulations, speech restraint and thought restraint. An FIR was lodged in several states due to objectionable posts against the deities of a particular religion and this petition was filed. Actually, Justice Biwi Nagratna and Justice K.K. Considering this petition filed by a person, V. Vishwanathan’s bench said that the messages that spread hatred, hatred and hatred in the society remain a serious challenge for the Indian environment of harmony, harmony and goodwill. The Supreme Court took seriously these complex situations related to freedom of expression and cleaned many foggy. The court said that citizens should understand the value of the right to freedom of expression. Also, using this right, self-restraint should be taken. The Supreme Court must welcome the implications of freedom related to freedom of expression and hurting religious sentiments in the latest case as well as the fresh decisions that have been made during this period, and the realizations of freedom of these expression must be welcomed.
Today, the tendency of unbearable use of forums like social media is increasing, such materials are being served and presented on social forums and TV channels like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, which are rude, vulgar, vulnerable, misleading, anti-national and hurt people of particular community, which aims to break the nation. On these social forums, such people are active, who believe in the policy of sabotage, they are determined to do good acts like character-loss and abuse and create chaotic atmosphere by adopting a ruthless and destructive policy. There should be no place for such violence, obscenity, hatred and misleading information in a progressive, decent and gentle society, but the irony is that the government is not able to control these chaotic situations due to freedom of expression.

The Supreme Court has warned that if there is no curb on divisive tendencies on social media, the government gets a chance to intervene, which will not be a good situation. Today, on social media, news channels and political forums, the kind of fiery language, false allegations, religious hatred and emotional provocation are being seen, they are not only dividing the society, but also hurting the dignity of democratic dialogue. This is the reason why the court had to say that it is considering issuing guidelines for regulation. In fact, the court believed that Article 19 (1) (A) of the Constitution of India gives citizens ‘freedom of expression’, under this, every citizen has the right to speak independently through thoughts, speech, writing, illustration etc. But the way the incidents of misuse of this right are coming out, it has become a matter of concern. Therefore today, thoughts are needed restraint and speech restraint. That is why Article 19 (2) also determines some of its ‘appropriate restrictions’ such as sovereignty and integrity of India, security of the country, integrity of the state, folk system, decency or morality, obscene or immoral speech, contempt of court, defamation, dismissal of crime and friendly relations with other countries, banning the chaos related to interactions with other countries, banning the objectives on the chaos, the objectives on the objectives, the objectives of the national interests are to ensure that the use of disciplines and the national interests is to ensure that the disciple disciplines and the objectives are to ensure that the disciplines and the objectives of the national interest Be in dignity Freedom received under Article 19 (2) of the Constitution is not unlimited.
In the latest cases, questions have also been raised about government action regarding the regulation of independent expression in many states. In many places, people have been arrested, describing the expression of ideas and making cartoons etc. as political misconduct. Which has been said by political parties in a sense of revenge. It has been alleged that no action is taken despite the indecisive and unhappy expression according to the ideology of the ruling party. But this expression becomes a crime in the government of other political party in another state. Nobody wants the government to control the freedom of expression of the common citizen. In the true sense, people should understand that maintaining the unity and integrity of the country is a fundamental duty. The court also questioned why citizens cannot restrain themselves? Why do political parties, religious leaders or militant activists make a bitter and bitter statements that hurt the sentiments of controversial and class-religion special people while poisoning the society? The court believed that people can enjoy freedom of expression only when it is expressed in a restrained manner. The bench of the apex court believed that there should be a brotherhood among the citizens, only then the hatred in the society could be fought. Only then can we create a nation and society of Ganga-Jamuni Sanjha culture.
In today’s era, we have to make thoughts restraint and speech restraint the cornerstone of our culture and democracy. As Swami Vivekananda said, “Think three times before speaking, is this true? Is it necessary? Will it not hurt others?” The constitution gives us rights, but also expects self -discipline and social interest with it. If we understand this, then our democracy can become more powerful and harmonious. The freedom of expression is the soul of democracy, but when it crosses the border, the unity, integrity and social harmony of the country threatens. The Supreme Court is repeatedly giving the message that responsibility and dignity is associated with freedom of expression. Former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam also believed that “If your words start wandering instead of motivating the nation, then it is not freedom, but chaos.” Social media has become one such weapon today which can prove fatal with a slight lapse. In fact, every citizen must be so conscious and aware that he can understand the intention related to the material coming from different sources.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said that “it is natural to have differences in democracy, but if the dignity is broken, it becomes a disruptive activity.” Such disruptive activities are taking a devastating form on social media. It is an undisputed truth that the social media forum has been fiercely misused by various political parties and organizations. At the same time, the fault of the people is that they share the content of the party’s agenda without reading them, in other people and groups. Actually, ordinary citizens should be trained as to what should be their restrained behavior on social media? Many people do not know how much sensitivity to the material being shared on social media? Many people share such materials in other people and groups, which can be anti-nation and social. Actually, they do not detect the hidden agenda of the one who made his original material. Sometimes people take such steps in emotion. Obviously, without the disaster, the citizen is good and society is also good in the use of freedom.
