India’s largest information technology (IT) service company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Wednesday informed the employees that it would increase the salaries of about 80 percent of employees from junior to medium order.

The TCS has taken this step to reward talent and maintain them at a time when it has decided to pruning more than 12,000 employees as part of its comprehensive strategy to ‘prepare the organization prepared for the future’. According to the company, it will have to focus on technology, deployment of AI, market expansion and investment in workforce restructuring.
