The accused mother -in -law arrested in Nikki murder case, son was helped in burning daughter -in -law for dowry
The police arrested the mother -in -law Daya of the accused in the Nikki Bhati Marder case. Nikki’s family members allege that her in -laws burnt their daughter alive, including the mother -in -law of the deceased. Nikki’s husband Vipin Bhati was already arrested in this case. On Sunday, he was encountered during an attempt to escape from the police custody.
Nikki’s accused mother -in -law Daya was going to see her son in the hospital in Greater Noida, when the police arrested him. She was wearing a burqa and was going to the hospital hidden and on the basis of the same secret information, the police arrested her.
‘Nikki was burnt to death by in -laws’
Vipin Bhati was trying to escape from the custody by snatching the weapon of the police. Meanwhile, an encounter took place near Sirsa intersection in Greater Noida, in which Vipin Bhati was shot in the leg. Family members allege that Nikki was deliberately burnt to death by her husband and in -laws.
The police took immediate action on the complaint of the deceased’s sister and arrested the accused husband Vipin Bhati. Also, two teams were formed to arrest the other accused. Now Vipin Bhati’s mother has also been arrested in this case.
Son’s help in burning daughter -in -law
Nikki’s elder sister Kanchan alleged that her mother -in -law and husband Vipin together carried out the incident on Thursday (21 August 2025). He alleged, “Mother -in -law Daya brought flammable substances to Vipin. After this, Vipin sprinkled him on Nikki. Everyone together burnt him alive.” According to Kanchan, he tried to save the sister, but the accused did not listen to him.
On the basis of Kanchan’s complaint, the police have registered a case against Nikki’s husband Vipin Bhati, brother -in -law Rohit Bhati, mother -in -law and father -in -law Satveer. At present, the police is investigating keeping all aspects in mind. In the FIR, a case has been registered under the section of murder and the investigation is moving forward on the basis of technical evidence as well as family statements.
