The land of Assam city of Guwahati was shocked on Sunday (September 14, 2025) with an earthquake shock. In Guwahati, intense tremors of earthquakes have been felt at 4:41 pm on Sunday. Officials said that the main center of this earthquake has been recorded at a depth of five kilometers from the earth in the second district of Assam. Apart from Assam, the tremors of this earthquake are also felt in Bhutan and the northern part of West Bengal.

The intensity of the earthquake in Guwahati has been measured 5.8. However, no news has been reported so far of anyone’s casualties or injuries and loss of any property.

Earthquake tremors were also felt in Assam on September 2, about two weeks before Sunday (September 14, 2025). On September 2, 2025, the land of Sonitpur in Assam trembled with a 3.5 magnitude earthquake.
