Travel ranging from 7000 rupees to 900 crores, Chandrababu Naidu became the richest CM of the country, revealed in ADR report
The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) on Saturday (August 23, 2025) introduced the property of the Chief Ministers of India, in which Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been kept at the top. According to the report, the total assets of the Chief Ministers of India are Rs 1,600 crore, in which the assets of CM Chandrababu Naidu alone have been estimated at Rs 931 crore.
According to the report, this property of CM Naidu is not related to the inherited property or unclear sources, but a business venture established on him three decades ago, ‘Heritage Foods Limited’, which is still in a strong position.
This CM of the country in second and third place
Talking about other Chief Ministers, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu is second in the list with assets of Rs 163 crore. After him, Naveen Patnaik of Odisha is third with assets of Rs 63 crore. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has declared the lowest assets worth Rs 40 lakh.
Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal declared his assets worth Rs 3 crore. If seen, except for two exceptions, most of the Chief Ministers are counted as a millionaire, which presents a widespread difference of property in India’s politics.
Heritage Foods Limited started with capital of Rs 7000
Talking about CM Chandrababu Naidu, he established Heritage Foods Limited in 1992 when India’s dairy region was opening for private investment under economic reforms. Starting from just Rs 7000 capital, the company became public in 1994 and its IPO was subscribed to 54 times, which raised Rs 6.5 crore.
In three decades, Heritage has evolved into an all -India brand with attendance in 17 states and partnership with about 3 lakh dairy farmers. The company’s turnover milestone, by financial year 2000, from Rs 100 crore to Rs 4,000 crore by FY 2025.
The party was removed from the turmoil
The slogan family, which holds 41.3 percent stake, has seen the heritage company increasing from Rs 25 crore to Rs 4,500 crore in 2025 in 1995. Naidu, who has been the four-time Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has worked in turn between power and the opposition and has passed through the upheaval of the state partition in 2014, election shocks in 2004 and 2019 and return to power in 2024.
During his tenure in undivided Andhra Pradesh, he named Hyderabad as “Sibrabad” and recently the decision to form the government with the BJP strengthened him. After joining the government in 1994, Chandrababu Naidu’s company Heritage was commanded by his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari.
