In Uttar Pradesh, there is a period of intermittent rain. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for western UP today (30 August) and Yellow alert for Eastern UP. There is a possibility of rain in many districts including Lucknow, Kanpur, Ayodhya, Agra, Meerut and Ghaziabad. Its effect is expected to remain till September 2, which is expected to get relief from the humidity.
System arising from the Bay of Bengal
According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area is being built over the Bay of Bengal, which will move towards western direction in the next few hours. Its impact may start to appear in Lucknow and surrounding districts from the evening of Sunday (31 August).
There is a possibility of rain with strong winds on 31 August and 1 September. There has also been a warning of power thunderstorms and fall for some districts. Eastern and western UP districts will be affected
Currently, the trough line of monsoon is coming from west to south. This is the reason that rain is expected in the next two to three days. On August 29, the heat between the clouds was felt more and more, but now the situation can change.

For the past few days, the humidity has disturbed people in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. On Friday, the temperature was recorded at 34.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 27.6 degrees, which was 1.2 degrees above normal. Due to mercury and moisture, people are constantly getting sweaty. However, now according to the prediction of the Meteorological Department, the wait for the rain of relief may end soon.

The Meteorological Department says that heavy rains are expected in the western and eastern districts of UP from Sunday to Monday. During this time, strong winds will also blow, which may increase the risk of incidents like falling of trees or lightning. Its special effect can be seen in big districts like Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra and Meerut.
