The Opposition’s India alliance has announced the name of the candidate for the post of Vice President. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday (August 19), former Supreme Court Judge B.K. Announced the name of Sudarshan Reddy. Congress spokesperson Jairam Ramesh said that his name has been unanimously decided. Sudarshan Reddy will now face NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan. During this time he has worked as a judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court, Chief Justice of Guwahati High Court and judge of the Supreme Court. He has worked continuously for social, economic and political justice. ”

B. Sudarshan Reddy was born on 8 July 1946 in Akula Mayalaram village in Ranga Reddy district of Andhra Pradesh. They come from a farmer family. Sudarshan Reddy moved to Hyderabad after his early studies and completed his law in 1971 from Osmania University. He held many important positions after this. Sudarshan Reddy has also been a former judge as well as the first Lokayukta of Goa.

The NDA has nominated CP Radhakrishnan as its candidate for the Vice Presidential election. Interestingly, both the candidates of this election come from South India. Radhakrishnan was born on 20 October 1957 in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. At the same time, India alliance candidate Sudarshan Reddy is from Andhra Pradesh.
