Vice President Election Voting: PM Modi cast the first vote in Vice Presidential elections, BJP MPs claimed NDA candidate’s victory
Voting is going on from 10 am on Tuesday (September 9, 2025) for the Vice Presidential election. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi cast the first vote in Parliament House. He also shared some photos on social media platform X.
PM Modi wrote in a social media post, ‘2025 Vice President cast votes in the election.’ Meanwhile, NDA leaders and MPs expressed confidence in the victory of their candidate CP Radhakrishnan. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, ‘Voting is going on for the new Vice President of India. NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan will win with an overwhelming majority.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat said, ‘Voting is being done for the Vice President and after that the results will come in our favor. NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan is an experienced person with comprehensive expertise from the ground level to the administration. I hope that he will serve the country as Vice President.
BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said, ‘I do not see any difficulty in this election. The opposition should also have thought before fielding its candidates. BJP MP Ramveer Singh Bidhuri said that CP Radhakrishnan is going to win the Vice -Presidential election with a huge margin. Apart from NDA, MPs from other parties will also vote for them and they are expected to win by record votes.
BJP MP Manju Sharma said, ‘We are confident that our candidate will win.’ BJP MP PP Chaudhary said, “CP Radhakrishnan will also get the votes of Indy alliance and his victory is certain.” On the Vice Presidential election, Shiv Sena MP Milind Deora said, ‘I am confident that the NDA will win the Vice President with an overwhelming majority in the election. I also hope that many opposition MPs will vote in favor of CP Radhakrishnan.
On the Vice Presidential election, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said that my belief says that CP Radhakrishnan’s victory is certain and he will become the new Vice President of the country. BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal said, ‘NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan is ready to win very strongly and the entire NDA is united under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We hope that CP Radhakrishnan will win with historical views and become the new Vice President of the country.
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale said, ‘Our candidate CP Radhakrishnan will win by a margin of good votes. There will be no cross-voting, because we have a clear majority. Cabinet Minister Sanjay Nishad said on the Vice Presidential election, ‘I have been in politics since 2013. Whatever claims the opposition makes, they always come out false and all their claims will remain. Our NDA candidate will win. Union Minister of State Prataprao Jadhav said, “The NDA already has a clear majority, we are confident that 40-50 votes of the Indy alliance will also come in our favor.”
