Monsoon rains continue from mountains to plains. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has expressed the possibility of continuing rainfall for a week in most areas of North India including the capital Delhi to Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Punjab.

According to the Meteorological Department, the process of rain in UP can continue for the next 48 hours. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain in the state on Wednesday (August 13). Please tell that alert of heavy rain has been issued in Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti and Kushinagar.

Possibility of heavy rains in UP
On August 13-14 in Uttar Pradesh, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains at some places, while on August 15, alert has been issued for heavy rains in western UP. There is no possibility of heavy rains in the state on 16 and 17 August.

It is raining sporadic somewhere in Bihar. According to the Meteorological Center Patna, during the next 24 hours, there will be partial cloudy in the capital and surrounding areas, in some places there will be sporadic rains with thunderstorms.

Hemkund Sahib Yatra postponed till 14 August
Life is affected by heavy rains in Uttarakhand. A female passenger died and four people were injured when a boulder fell on a boulder car from a hill in Ratuda area on Badrinath highway in Rudraprayag. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of heavy to heavy rains in some areas of Haridwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar. A yellow alert of heavy rains has been issued in some areas of Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Champawat and Bageshwar.

Warning of heavy rain in Madhya Pradesh
In Madhya Pradesh, the monsoon has once again gained momentum. Many districts of the state are receiving good rains, while drizzle is happening in some districts. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of heavy rain in more than a dozen districts of the state, including Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Satna, Katni, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur and Tikamgarh.

Heavy rain in Jammu and Kashmir
Heavy rains continue in different districts of Jammu. In view of heavy rains in Rajouri, Reasi and Poonch districts, all schools have been ordered to be closed.
