Ajit Agarkar also said that the team will need Jaspreet Bumrah in every big match. He said, “Clearly we want Bumrah to be available for all big matches. Although every match in international cricket is very big and important. Most fast bowlers are being monitored. Bumrah has suffered more injuries in the last 2-3 years, so we have to take special care of them. Especially because he is a very special bowler.”
Jasprit Bumrah has not played any T20 match after the final of the 2024 T20 World Cup. Last year, Bumrah took a total of 15 wickets in 8 matches in the World Cup. He has taken 89 wickets in 70 T20 matches so far and is the fifth highest wicket -taking bowler in T20 format. Right now Arshdeep Singh is at number one with 99 wickets.
