‘Why are Sambit Patra taking the favor of the Election Commission?’, Pawan Kheda rages on the allegations on ECI

Congress leader Pawan Kheda has given a statement on Monday (August 18, 2025) about Union Minister Chirag Paswan and BJP MP Sambit Patra.
In fact, the Congress party had raised many questions accusing the Election Commission of India (ECI) and Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar Gupta. On this, Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan and BJP MP Sambit Patra made a statement targeting the Congress.
Pawan Kheda targeted BJP leaders
After the statements made by Chirag Paswan and Sambit Patra on the allegations of the Congress on the Election Commission, Pawan Kheda, the head of the Congress media department, took him in wrapped. Pawan Kheda said, “We have questioned the Election Commission, so why are the concerned Patra taking the side of the Election Commission?”
He said, “Whenever there is an attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Election Commission comes to their rescue and the Election Commission is asked something, then the ministers of the Bharatiya Janata Party come to their defense. It is harming democracy.”
CEC Answer on Congress allegations
The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of the Election Commission, Gyanesh Kumar Gupta organized a press conference in New Delhi on Sunday (August 17, 2025). In this, CEC Dnyanesh Kumar responded to the allegations of the Congress of Bihar’s voter list and cutting the names of crores of people. Along with this, he once again demanded the affidavit signed from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his allegations. CEC Dnyanesh Kumar Gupta said that if he (Rahul Gandhi) does not pay an affidavit about his claims, then he should apologize to the people of the country.
