Yuki Bhambri defeat in the semi -finals of US Open, yet rich

India’s Yuki Bhambri and his New Zealand partner Michael Venus suffered defeat against the British pair in the US Open Mains doubles semi -finals. In a tough match, the British pair Salisbury and Scupsky returned from Akh set to 6-7, 7-5,6-4 and won the finals. With this victory, the British pair made it to the finals of the Hard Court Grand Slam event in flushing meadows.
Both teams were 3-3 in the first set, after which the India and Kiwi pair took the lead and finally took the set to the tie-break. Bhambri and Venus won the first set tie-break 7–2 in a strong manner.
In the second set too, the Bhambri-Venus pair started well but Salisbury and Scripsky returned to bring the match to another tie break and this time the British pair won and brought the match to par.
The decisive third set was the name of the British couple who won 6-4. Bhambri and Venus performed well throughout the tournament. He started his campaign by defeating Marcos Giron and Learner Tien 6–0, 6-3. His performance in the second round was also strong where he defeated Gonzalo Escobar and Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela 6–1, 7-5.
