While the Paris Olympic bronze medalist Aman Sehrawat (57 kg) did not get any significant challenge in the World Championship selection trial, while Sujit Kalkal showed great skills and confirmed his place in the national team in the 65 kg freestyle category of men on Monday. The World Championship to be held next month in Jagreb, Croatia, will have a world -class tournament of the world class after winning bronze at the Paris Olympics at 2024.

The 22 -year -old wrestler returned to competitive wrestling in June and won a bronze medal in the Mongolia rankings series. However, he looked far better than Mongolia in the trial here. In the final, he defeated Rahul with technical superiority without losing any points in a unilateral manner.

Aman said, “I think I have returned to my best form. My fitness is good and my rhythm is also returned. I am ready for the World Championship. “He said,” I made some mistakes in the Mongolia rankings series but it was my first competition a year later. I think I did not perform so badly, I was walking at one time even ahead of 11-6, but I accept that necklace (in Mongolia). ”

The men’s 65kg event saw a very close match where Sujit Kalkal won. Sujit impressed with his strong defensive game against Anuj (10–0) and Vishal Kaliraman (8-4). He was successful in gaining points by retaliating with a difficult situation.
