Asaduddin Owaisi targeted the central government, rages over GST, raised questions on foreign policy

On Thursday (September 4, 2025), MP from Hyderabad and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi raised strong questions on the Central Government’s Economic, Social and Foreign Policy on Thursday (September 4, 2025). He said that the most damage in the current system is being done to the states and the general public, while the central government is sitting silent on all the necessary issues.

Asaduddin Owaisi criticized the GST (Goods and Services Tax) system at a press conference, saying, “All the states, they are getting less funds from the center. The most burden is being imposed on the common and middle class through the GST. Even today, there is a need to reduce 18 percent tax on courier service, which is also needed to be reduced. Not being given, due to which their financial condition is getting worse. ” He said that the tax on input material is more than finished goods, which is harmful for industries and construction sector.

Owaisi raised questions on India’s foreign policy

Asaduddin Owaisi also questioned the intention of the government regarding India’s foreign policy. He said, “If we are not able to implement the ‘One India Policy’ firmly, then why are you following the ‘One China Policy’? Isn’t this a double attitude?” He also asked that if India has friendship with Russia, then why are the prices of petrol and diesel not being reduced?

Owaisi targeted US President Donald Trump

Owaisi targeted former US President Donald Trump and said, “What is Trump’s emperors who only talk about Ukraine war? Why don’t they speak on the massacre happening in Gaza? India should also adopt a clear policy instead of giving Verbal Support. India has always stood with right in history.”

He said, “If India would have continued to buy oil from Iran in time and would not have bowed before international pressure, then the situation would have been very different today. Then Iran was giving us oil at cheap prices and that too was getting a deal in the rupee, which could have benefited India a big benefit.”

Owaisi questioned the government’s policy on equality

Owaisi questioned that Hyderabad liberation day is celebrated in India, but why not Kashmir Mukti Divas? He said that this is duplication and questions arise whether the government’s policy is based on equality. With this, he also expressed displeasure over the neglect of freedom fighters like Maulvi Alauddin and Turdebaaz Khan and demanded that such freedom fighters should also get respect at the national level.
