Bangladesh is likely to replace Pakistan in the men’s asiacup hockey2025

Bangladesh team can replace Pakistan in Hockey men Asia Cup. The tournament has been held in Rajgir, Bihar since August 29 and Pakistan will be included in its place if it did not confirm it in the next few days. The Government of India has already said that Pakistani players will give visas for the Asia Cup, but the Pakistan Hockey Federation has made them travel by traveling by citing security reasons.

The organizers have approached Bangladesh to replace Pakistan in the eight teams tournaments, but Hockey India said that the actual situation would be clear in the next 48 hours. Hockey India official said that, the Government of India has already done that it is ready to give visas to Pakistani players, but if they do not want to come to India then it is not our problem. If Pakistan does not come, Bangladesh has already been invited to participate. But we have to wait two more days to confirm. Neither Pakistan nor Bangladesh have confirmed this so far. But Bangladesh can replace Pakistan.

Pakistan’s participation in the Asia Cup became uncertain after a military confrontation with India after the Pahalgam terror attack. The Asia Cup is also a qualifying tournament for the World Cup to be held in 2026. Apart from hosts India, other teams participating in the Asia Cup are China, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Oman and Chinese Taipei.
