The world’s number one chase player Magnus Carlson recently expressed his opinion on the chess skills of the technical world’s three biggest and powerful personalities Elon Musk, Sam Altman and Mark Zuckerberg. The disclosure came when Carlson was commenting on an Artificial Intelligence Chess Tournament, where AI models of the said technical giants tried to beat each other. During this time Magnus Carlson recalled the moments when he encountered the real board from these veterans.
Magnus Carlson, the king of the chess world, said that he had seen Allen Musk closely but never got a chance to talk with him on chess. Carlson also told that Allen Musk has not much respect for chess players or this game because according to him this game is not very complicated. However, the real shock was in the AI tournament where the AI model of Anal Musk, Grocke 4, was extremely disappointing.
Magnus Carlson exposed her weaknesses in sharp words. Carlson said that Groke 4 made very small mistakes. It felt as if he only knew a few initial moves, all the rest were in the wrong time and strange sequences. He gave Groke 4 only 800 L ratings, which is less than an amateur player’s level.
However, Carlson said something different about Open AI’s Sam Altman. He laughed and said that, I have played the same chess tournament with Sam Altman. It was an alternate move tournament in Silicon Valley. It was around the final of the Champions Chase Tour in 2022. I think Anish fell with him. Sam was not very good, so Anish Giri was very unhappy with him being in the team. However, he really learned a lot from this experience. You can say that he was very smart.
Regarding Mark Zuckerberg, Carlson said that, Zuckerberg did not know much but he was like Sam. I used to think he was better than him. He was learning very fast. He was making his opinion very quickly, which I found very impressive.
