CM Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated Aerocon 2025, new direction will be found in cancer treatment and research
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has said that the health of three crore people of Chhattisgarh is the top priority of the state government. He assured that financial resources will never be an obstacle in providing health facilities to the people of the state.
Mum‘Aerocon 2025’ Chhattisgarh at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Auditorium in the capital Raipur today,Inaugurating the two -day event of Madhya Pradesh Chapter, he was addressing the experts and the people present. On this occasion, he announced the construction of a new hostel for the students of Medical College Raipur at a cost of Rs 65 crore.

Chief Minister Sai said that thousands of patients suffering from serious illness like cancer are getting Sanjeevani today due to the hard work and latest medical practices of specialist doctors. He said that in the last two decades, the initial identity of cancer and research in the field of treatment has raised new expectations for the future. He said that Cancer Day-Care Centers are being set up in every district under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chhattisgarh is also moving fast in this direction.

Chief Minister Sai said that under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme, treatment of many patients in the state has been possible. Patients have got great relief due to cheaper cancer medicines and equipment in GST. Sai said that state -of -the -art equipment is being provided for cancer treatment in state hospitals and today a robotic surgery system is being launched in AIIMS Raipur, which proves that government hospitals are leading in adopting the latest technology. He said that artificial intelligence (Ai) It is proving to be very useful in the identity of cancer and the state government is rapidly including it in health services.
New hospitals will be done Established
Chief Minister Sai said that the government is constantly increasing the health budget and opening new medical colleges. He said that a medicine with a capacity of 5,000 beds is being constructed in Nawa Raipur. The government is working on every option to expand health facilities in remote areas like Bastar and Surguja. He informed that new hospitals will be established in Surguja, Dharamjaigarh and Bastar. He expressed confidence that Arocon 2025 seminar would prove to be a milestone towards cancer prevention and treatment.
Medical services will be done more Strong
Addressing the program, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that in the seventh event of Arocon 2025, experts from various fields related to cancer treatment have come on one platform. This will open new dimensions in the treatment of this disease. He said that Mekahara Hospital in Raipur is a major treatment center not only for patients from Chhattisgarh but also from other states of Madhya Bharat. Medical services will be further strengthened here through state -of -the -art techniques and machines in future.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that Medical College Raipur is the largest cancer center in the state, where the latest facilities are being provided. He informed that in the coming time six physiotherapy colleges will be established in the state, super specialty hospitals will start in Bastar and Surguja, separate hospitals and Naturopathy colleges will be opened for mental patients. In Mekahara, 700 beds will be increased at a cost of Rs 232 crore and the latest facilities like robotic surgery and IVF center will be made available.
On this occasion, MLA Purandar Mishra, Dr. Vivek Chaudhary, Existor of Medical College Raipur, Vice Chancellor of Ayush University Prof. P.K. Patra, specialist doctors, students and dignitaries were present in large numbers.
