South superstar Rajinikanth’s film ‘Coolie’ was released in theaters on 14 August. It has been two weeks since the film was released and now the film is moving towards the 300 crore club. For the last two days, there was a decline in the collection of ‘Coolie’. But now on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the film seems to be getting the benefit of the holiday and the film is earning fierce note at the box office.
- According to a report by Second, ‘Coolie’ earned Rs 229.65 crore at the domestic box office in the first week.
- Rajinikanth’s film earned 5.85 crores on the 9th day, 10.5 crores on the 10th day and 11.35 crores on the 11th day.
- ‘Coolie’ collected 3.25 crores on the 12th day and 3.65 crores on the 13th day.
A tremendous increase in ‘Coolie’ earnings on the 14th day
- The initial figures of the 14th day of ‘Coolie’ have also come out. The film has earned 4.50 crores so far (till 11 pm).
- With this, the total collection of ‘Coolie’ at the domestic box office 268.75 Crores have become rupees.
- Now Rajinikanth’s film is just an inches away from crossing the 270 crore mark.
- ‘Coolie’ has already broken the records of many blockbuster films and now the next target of the film is Dhoom 3.

- The budget of ‘Coolie’ is 350 crores and the film has recovered its budget by earning more than 350 crores at the worldwide box office.
- This action-thriller film has been directed by Lokesh Kanagaraja. According to the report, the director has charged a fee of Rs 50 crore for this 350 crore film.
- At the same time, Rajinikanth has charged 200 crores for ‘Coolie’. Apart from this, stars like Aamir Khan, Shruti Haasan, Upendra and Nagarjuna are also in important roles.
