‘India became the fourth largest economy under PM Modi’
Shah’s statement came at a time when the US has announced a 25 percent additional fee on Indian goods for continuing India’s purchase of Russian oil. This is expected to affect areas like textile, sea products and leather exports.
Shah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India’s economy has become the fourth largest economy by jumping from the 11th largest economy in the world in just a decade. He compared this to the previous Congress government, which he accused of derailing the economy.
‘PM Modi’s 11 years will be inscribed in golden letters’
Shah said, “Until we reach the summit and build a great India, no one has the right to rest.” He also targeted the ruling leftist party of Kerala and said that the state has failed to keep pace with the rest of the country. ‘ He claimed, “Kerala has immense opportunities, but the stability caused by communist ideology has stopped its development.”

What did Amit Shah say about Manipur violence?
Amit Shah also talked about internal security. On the recent violence in Manipur, Shah said that after the court verdict, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ruled the kingdom in a peaceful manner for six years before the unrest spread.
He claimed, ‘There was no violence then. The violence started after the court’s decision. When the Congress was in power, there was violence, but I am not blaming them, but now there is peace. We have talked to both groups and peace is returning. Our priority was to restore peace. I want to make it clear that it has no relation with religion. This is an ethnic issue.
‘Peace resting in Jammu and Kashmir’
Referring to Jammu and Kashmir, he said that its border with Pakistan made it easy for terrorists to cross the border for a long time. He claimed, ‘Earlier, they trained local boys for terrorism, now the local recruitment is zero. There is no stone pelting. We have created an atmosphere to counter terrorism.
Shah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India has made great progress in the matter of security. He said, ‘There has been a huge decrease in violence. Deaths have decreased by 70 percent. The number of casualties of security forces has decreased by 74 percent, peace is returning.
BJP’s so much vote percentage in upcoming local body elections
On Kerala politics, Shah expressed confidence that the BJP will get 25 percent votes in the upcoming local body elections and will form the government in the state in future. He accused both the ruling LDF and opposition UDF of ‘corruption’ and said that money was given to party workers for development.
He asked, ‘Popular Front of India (PFI) spread from Kerala to Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. If Modi was not in power, the Kerala government would not ban PFI. Can national security be compromised for selfishness? ‘
Challenge to the Chief Minister of Kerala for debate
Shah also dismissed the concerns about the BJP among the minorities. He said, ‘BJP and NDA are currently ruled over two-thirds of the country. I believe that the number of minority communities in Kerala is not high. Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have more number of minorities. Similar campaigns were conducted in 2014 and 2019, but there was no problem.
He challenged Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to public debate on disaster relief. Shah said that the Modi government has given Rs 5,100 crore to the state, which is more than the previous governments. He said, ‘If the money given to the state goes to the party workers, then it will not be able to reach the public. You can call Pinarayi Vijayan ji and I am ready for open discussion on the UPA (United Progressive Alliance) Government and the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) Government what did for disaster management?
