‘Listen to Pakistan by opening your ear …’, Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s blunt on Asim Munir’s nuclear threat

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, giving a strong reply to Pakistan and America clearly said that India is not going to fear anyone’s threats. He said that the Indus Water Agreement has now been canceled and the water of Indus River will be used for Indian farmers. The statement came in response to Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir’s statement in the US, in which he threatened India over the Indus agreement.

India is not afraid of threats: Shivraj

During the meeting with representatives of farmer organizations in Delhi, Shivraj said- “Neighbors are giving a jackal of nuclear weapons from America, but India is not afraid of it. The whole world should listen to, the Indus agreement has been canceled, our water will work for our farmers, it is decided.” He said that there was concern about the agreement and tariffs all over the country, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear that there will be no compromise on the interests of farmer.

PM Modi cleared: Shivraj

Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that Prime Minister Modi has made it clear that the interest of farmers is his top priority, no matter what personal loss has to be suffered for this. He thanked PM Modi and said that under his leadership, India is fully committed to the welfare of farmers.

Asim Munir gave nuclear threats
Pakistan’s Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir threatened India from America’s land. During a dinner held in Tampa, USA, he said- “We are an atomic rich nation. If we felt that we are drowning, half will drown the world with us.” He made this statement after four days of struggle with India and during his second American visit in two months.

What did Munir say about the Indus River?
Munir also accused India about the control of the Indus River. He said- “We will wait for India to build a dam and when he does so, we will destroy it with ten missiles. The Indus River is not the property of any Indian family. We have no shortage of missiles.”
