‘Mizoram’s significant contribution in building developed India’, PM Modi inaugurated the railway line in Aizawl

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal and Bihar. He is currently in Mizoram, where he has given railway gift to the state. PM Modi laid the foundation stone and inauguration of several major development projects in Aizawl in Mizoram, which costs more than Rs 9,000 crore. PM Modi inaugurated the new Bairabi-Garng rail line connecting Mizoram to the Indian Railway Network for the first time. Now Aizawl has joined the railway nap. This step is very important for the development of Mizoram and better connectivity.

What did PM Modi say?
During his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, ‘Whether in our country or abroad, I am very happy to be the ambassador of the beautiful culture of the Northeast. It is very important to promote the forums showing the possibilities of the Northeast. At the Rising North East Summit, I urge investors to take advantage of the immense possibilities of the Northeast. This summit is opening the way for big investment and projects.

PM Modi further said, ‘When I talk about’ Vocal for Local ‘, it directly benefit the artisans and farmers of the Northeast. Mizoram’s bamboo products, organic ginger, turmeric and bananas are famous all over the country. We are constantly taking steps to make people’s lifestyle and business easier. Recently the GST reforms of the next generation have been announced. This means low taxing on many products, which will make the lives of families easier … ‘

PM Modi will go to Manipur after Mizoram
After Mizoram’s program, PM Modi’s next stop is Manipur. He will lay the foundation stone and inauguration of several development projects costing more than Rs 8,500 crore here.
