Hundreds of residents of Mahagun Mantra-2 Society in Noida, UP, united on the builder’s head office on Saturday and landed on the protest with their demands. The residents raised loud slogans like playing the plate, registration and made serious allegations against the builder management that despite taking full money, their flat has not been registered yet.
Residents say that they paid the entire amount for their homes years ago, possession has also been received in the years 2021 and 2022, but till now the ownership has not been given. Due to this, flat buyers are constantly going to visit the administration and builder.
Registry struggle
Residents said that 310 flats of Tower Ganga and 206 flats of Tower Gayatri have been built in the society. More than 300 of these families are already living. Despite this, the ownership of the flat has not been named after him. This problem became more serious when the builder repeatedly assured “registry in 24 weeks”, but every time the promises were broken.
Authority’s role and outstanding
The residents allege that the builder has not been able to get OC-CC (Occupancy and Completion Certificate) due to the outstanding payment of the Greater Noida Authority. Because of this, the process of registry is stuck. However, buyers say that they should not get the punishment for the mutual issues of the builder and the authority.
Pain of residents
Flat buyers said that despite earning hard work for three and a half years, they are being felt like a tenant in their own house. Many times he conveyed his point to the DM, MLA, MP and Greno Authority, but has not been resolved yet.
Rising resentment
Angered by the long -standing harassment, the residents protested by playing a plate outside the builder’s office. He warned that if the problem of registry is not resolved soon, the movement will be intensified.
