Online betting racket busted, ED seized 34.26 crore properties of 8 people

ED has taken major action in a case related to box trading and online betting. After checking the ED headquarters Investigation Unit, movable and immovable assets worth Rs 34.26 crore have been attached temporarily. These properties are associated with Vishal Agrihotri, Tarun Srivastava, Hitesh Aggarwal, Dharmesh Rajnikant Trivedi, Srinivasan Ramasamy, Karan Solanki, Dhawal Devraj Jain and his family.

ED started this investigation on the basis of FIR lodged at Lasudia police station in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Investigation revealed that the accused used to run many companies and online platforms. These include V Money/VM Trading (M/S Standard Trades Ltd), 11STARSS, Lotusbook247, 8 Stock Heights, Goldmin, Vertex, GameBetleague, Ibull Capital Ltd, PlayBook, Targetfx, World7777.

Illegal investment and purchased assets

Through these platforms, the business of Dabba Trading and online betting was going on. ED investigation revealed that the money collected from these platforms was made here and there through fake bank accounts, hawala network and cryptocurrency. In this entire network, a hefty amount was collected from investors and participants and later the assets were purchased by investing it illegally.

ED conducted raids in Indore, Bhopal, Mumbai, Chennai and Ahmedabad in December 2024, June and July 2025. Large quantities of records, digital devices, cash, silver, gold and cryptocurrency were seized in these raids. During the investigation, statements of the accused and others were also recorded, which made it clear that luxurious properties were purchased by applying this illegal earnings in the name of family and companies.

Total assets worth 58.39 crore attached and seized

Earlier, ED had freeze/seized cash, luxury watches, gold-hare jewels, bank accounts and demat holdings in this case. Now after assets of 34.26 crore and attachment, a total of Rs 58.39 crore has been attached and seized in this case. According to the ED, the investigation of the case is still going on.
