PM Modi washed Shahbaz Sharif on terrorism from SCO platform, flew facial color, watch video

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked terrorism on Monday (August 01, 2025) at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) annual summit, saying that the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam was not only a shock to India’s conscience, but it was also an open challenge for every nation believing in humanity. He strongly warned Pakistan to abandon double standards in dealing with terrorism.

In the presence of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Chinese President Xi Chinfing and many other global leaders, Modi said at the annual summit of Shanghai Cooperation Sangathan (SCO) that fighting terrorism is a duty towards humanity.

India’s message to Pakistan and its supporting country

Giving a clear message to Pakistan and supporting it, Modi said, “It is natural to ask whether we can ever be acceptable to give open support to terrorism from some countries?” Giving a clear reference to China’s ‘Belt and Road’ initiative (BRI), Modi said that connectivity projects that bypassing sovereignty lose both trust and meaning.

However, the main subject of the Prime Minister’s address was a call for concrete global efforts to deal with terrorism. He said, ‘We have to say clearly and in one voice that double standards on terrorism are unacceptable. Together we should oppose terrorism in every form and expression. This is our duty towards humanity.

Shahbaz Sharif’s face blown color

The Prime Minister said that no country, society or citizen can consider themselves completely safe from terrorism. In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, India started ‘Operation Sindoor’ on 7 May, under which terrorist structures were targeted in the areas controlled by Pakistan. After this attack, there were fierce clashes between the two countries for 4 days, which ended with consent to stop military action on 10 May.

However, when PM Modi was talking about the Pahalgam attack, during that time Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif was sitting in front of him. As soon as PM Modi raised the issue of terrorism, Shahbaz Sharif’s face was blown away. Narendra Modi said in his address that India has been facing the brunt of terrorism for the last several decades.

Thanks to India for friendly countries

He said, ‘Many mothers lost their children and many children became orphaned. Recently we saw a very disgusting form of terrorism in Pahalgam. This attack was not only a shock to the conscience of India, but it was an open challenge for every country, every person who believes in humanity.

Modi also thanked the friendly countries standing with India after the Pahalgam attack. Highlighting India’s approach and policy towards the group, the Prime Minister presented a new meaning of the connivance of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization ‘SCO’.

PM Modi understands SCO

He said, ‘SCO’s’ S’ means’ security ‘i.e. safety,’ C ‘means’ connectivity’ means contact and ‘O’ means’ Opportunity ‘i.e. opportunity. I would like to emphasize that security, peace and stability are the foundation of the development of any nation. However, terrorism, separatism and extremism remain big challenges in this path.

The Prime Minister said that terrorism is not only a threat to the safety of individual nations, but is a common challenge for the whole of humanity. He said, ‘Any country, any society, no citizen can consider themselves completely safe from it. That is why India has stressed the importance of unity in the fight against terrorism.

Proposal to construct civilization dialogue forum

The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of ‘connectivity’ (contact) for regional development and progress. He said, ‘We believe that sovereignty and regional integrity should be respected in every effort of contact. It also lies in the basic principles of SCO Charter. The ‘connectivity’ that sidelines sovereignty loses faith and meaning. ‘

The Prime Minister also proposed to construct a civilization dialogue forum under the SCO. He said, ‘Such a platform will give us an opportunity to share the prosperity of our ancient civilizations, art, literature and traditions on a global platform.’

What did PM Modi say about ‘Global South’?

The Prime Minister also emphasized on ensuring the development of ‘Global South’. He said that keeping the aspirations of ‘Global South’ in the old structures is gross injustice with future generations. ‘Global South’ refers to countries that are often known as developing, less developed or underdeveloped and are mainly located in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Highlighting India’s development journey, Modi said that the country is moving forward with the mantra of ‘reform, performance and transform’ ie (reform, performance and change). We are continuously working on comprehensive reforms, making new opportunities for both national development and international cooperation.
