It is our good fortune that Prime Minister is coming to Madhya Pradesh today on this special day. The state is going to get a big gift from his visit. They will lay the foundation stone of the country’s first “PM Mitra Park” in Bhainsola village of Dhar district. Along with this, they will inaugurate the ‘healthy female-power family and nutrition campaign’ and ‘Cleanliness Hi Seva’ fortnight. I warmly welcome and greet the Prime Minister with eight and a half crore people of the state.
The entire life of the Prime Minister is a journey of hard work, effort and inspiration of service. Through the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, he started his journey to his public life by taking a pledge of nation and social service, which has also been as Prime Minister. The nation is first and paramount for them. It is the result of their decisions and leadership capacity taken in their nation building and country interest that today India is being counted in the leading nations of the world.
Each of his decisions has a glimpse of empowering the foundation of the nation. His initiative in ending Section 370 in Kashmir and his initiative in establishing Sri Ramalala in Ayodhya after the Supreme Court’s decision is incredible. He ended the divisive trends for a nation, a identity and established a sense of unity in the society. His visionary leadership is continuously motivating modern India towards making modern, safe, prosperous and culturally glorious nations. It is a matter of pride for all of us that under his guidance, India has received many historical achievements in the fields of public welfare, economic strengthening, cultural renaissance and national security.
As soon as he assumed the responsibility as Prime Minister, he first waged a cleanliness drive for the healthy life of the countrymen. He himself reached Pragati Maidan in Delhi with a broom in his hand. Cleanliness campaign was conducted in every village. On the call of the Prime Minister, the people of Madhya Pradesh also got involved in this campaign and Madhya Pradesh became a leading state in the cleanliness campaign from village to city. Indore secured first place in the country as a clean city in the country 8 consecutive times. Shri Modi ji started the Ayushman Bharat Scheme to provide modern medical service to the common citizen, which helped poor and helpless families in treatment. More than 40 crore citizens are getting free health services from this scheme. In order to instill confidence to the society towards his cultural pride, the Prime Minister gave us the slogan of ‘development with heritage’. Taking the balance of pride of Indian culture and the balance of modernity, he aroused a sense of self -reliance and patriotism among the people.
I am feeling proud to say that Shri Modi ji brought India’s economy to new heights. India was the eleventh economy of the world when he took charge. In only eleven years, India reached fourth place and is now moving towards becoming a third economy. India has set a new example in oil imports, trade, defense production and technological innovation. India also demonstrated its military capability as an Ordnance Exporting Country. In ‘Space Technology’, India surprised the world by hoisting the tricolor on the south pole of the moon and has proved its superiority in science and technology.
The biggest feature of the personality of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is that he also implements what he says. He had announced the GST reform from the ramparts of the Red Fort on Independence Day this year and decided to implement it within a month. With this decision, the tax system of the country will be simple, inflation will be reduced and inclusive development with economic justice will give impetus. The Prime Minister’s economic policies have created new possibilities in the fields of investment, production and employment. These policies gave relief to the countrymen and became a symbol of India’s self-esteem globally. Economic superpower like America tried to put pressure on India by implementing heavy tariffs, but Shri Modi’s strategy forced him to retreat. Setting up new business routes by collaborating with Russia and China and implementing economic reforms like GST is the result of their efficient and decisive leadership ability.
The Prime Minister’s goal is to become self -sufficient and play a leading role in nation building. He implemented the ‘Pradhan Mantri Developed India Rojgar Yojana’ to provide employment to the youth according to their capacity. Its purpose is to provide employment to more than three and a half crore youth. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the youth are getting opportunities to move forward in skill development, self -employment, startup, technological innovation and global competition. Under the Mudra scheme, about 52.5 crore small entrepreneurs were given financial assistance and their business was given momentum.
The Prime Minister believes that the participation of women in the foundation of any family, society and nation is important. They have implemented many schemes for the welfare, security and economic self -reliance of women. Ujjwala scheme liberated more than 10.33 crore women from smoke. This also improved the health of women and also gave them an opportunity to live a life of respect. More than 4 crore people got the right to property from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. By implementing women’s reservation, she promoted the political participation of women. Through the ‘Lakhpati Didi Abhiyan’, 3 crore women are being carried forward in the direction of economic empowerment. In the last 10 years, he has taken 25 crore people out of poverty. He made constant efforts to bring public welfare schemes to the people. Under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Annan Yojana’, more than 81 crore citizens were given free food grains. More than 12 crore toilets were built under the Swachh Bharat Mission, which improved cleanliness and health. Under the ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’, more than 15 crore houses were transported from tap. These schemes directly benefited every section of the country.
With the radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’, he associated with every public mind of the country, tried to know every problem and bring solutions. He gave top priority to the security of the nation. He took several decisions to protect borders, face terrorism and strengthen India’s position on the global platform. With ‘Operation Sindoor’, India demonstrated its military capability and introduced the world to India’s power. Under his leadership, the Indian Army was equipped with modern equipment.
The leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is a symbol of service, sacrifice, discipline, self -reliance and national love.
