Rahul Gandhi organized a ‘vote rights rally’ in Bengaluru over allegations of rigging of Election Commission

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Lok Sabha Leader Opposition Rahul Gandhi made big allegations about the rigging being made to help the BJP to help the BJP by holding a ‘vote rights rally’ at Freedom Park in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that on August 9, 1942, Mahatma Gandhi gave the slogan of ‘do or die’ and today we are facing a similar existence fight.

He said that our privileges as citizens are in danger, because today our franchise is being taken away. This is the struggle of ‘do or die’ for us and called that we have to stand up on this occasion. Decisive steps have to be taken to save our democracy and the Constitution of India.

Vote theft across the country

Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that citing 25 seats won by the BJP by a margin of less than 35 thousand votes in the Lok Sabha elections, he said that due to these seats, Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister. He has demanded that the Election Commission give him digital voter list and CCTV footage of seats across the country, after which he will prove that not only one seat in Karnataka was rigged, but Narendra Modi has become Prime Minister by stealing votes in the whole of India.

Rahul Gandhi asked the Election Commission questions why he is not giving digital voter list and why they are erasing video records? Why are you doing such a big fraud in the voter list? Instead of answering questions, why is the Election Commission threatening the opposition and why is it working like the BJP agent?

Votes rigged in Maharashtra assembly elections

Rahul Gandhi said that after the results of the 2024 Maharashtra assembly elections, the suspicion of Congress’s rigging in the elections had deepened. India alliance got more seats in the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra, but after four months the BJP won in the assembly elections. He said that the main reason for this was that one crore new voters had voted in the assembly elections, whose votes went to the BJP’s account.

Karnataka election also disturbed

Giving the example of Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress was projected to win 16 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, but it won only 9 Lok Sabha seats. He said that the Congress sought voter list and CCTV footage from the Election Commission to know the truth of the results, but they were not made available.

He further said that inverted the Election Commission changed the law related to video footage itself. After this, the Congress itself started investigation and for this, Mahadevpura assembly constituency of Bangalore Central Lok Sabha seat was elected.

Registration of large number of fake voters

Accusing the Election Commission of collusion with the BJP, Rahul Gandhi said that 1,00,250 votes were stolen from 5 types of rigging in Mahadevpura Assembly. A total of 1,00,250 fake votes were made by making duplicate voters, using fake and invalid addresses, registering a large number of voters at the same address, adding the voters to the list and misusing the form-six. Describing it as a crime, he demanded the Karnataka government to investigate this fraud and take action and ask the Election Commission officials.

Election Commission is closing the website

While attacking the Election Commission, Rahul Gandhi further said that after his revelations, the Election Commission is seeking an affidavit from him, while he has sworn in the Constitution in Parliament. He said that the Election Commission is now closing its own website of various states, because it is afraid that if the public starts asking questions about electoral data, its entire structure will collapse.

Rahul said that the electoral data of the country is evidence in itself and if someone destroys it, he will mean that he is erasing the evidence and promoting crime. He said that the Election Commission is attacking the constitutional basic idea of one person, one vote and warned that those who attack the Constitution will not be able to escape.

Congress itself will start investigation

He further said that the Election Commission can neither hide anything nor hide itself. One day he will have to face the opposition. He also said that if the Election Commission did not give data to the Congress, then the party can investigate many seats like Mahadevpura itself.

During this period, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal, Karnataka in -charge General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, State President and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar were present.
