Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan has targeted the organizers of the Asia Cup. The Afghan team is kept in Group B and all its matches will be played in Abu Dhabi, but Rashid Khan is angry that his team’s stay has been arranged in Dubai, while his matches will be played in Abu Dhabi. The tournament is going to start with the match of Afghanistan today, in which it will face Hong Kong.

The press conference was held before the start of Asia Cup 2025. In this, Rashid Khan said that it is not right to live in Dubai and the team’s match in Abu Dhabi. The distance of Dubai International Stadium from Sheikh Zayed Stadium (Abu Dhabi) is more than 100 kilometers. Therefore, the Afghanistan team will have to travel more than 200 km for every match.

Afghanistan team is staying in Dubai. At the same time, when the matches were held in Abu Dhabi, Rashid Khan said, “It is not right to play in Abu Dhabi and stay in Dubai for all three matches. But we have to accept the circumstances due to being a professional cricketer.”

Rashid Khan says that when the players go down to represent the country on the field, they forget everything else. He told that once he went to America from Bangladesh, where he had to play the match soon after getting off the flight.

On the other hand, Sri Lankan captain Charith Asanka also appeared angry with the Asia Cup schedule. The Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe series ended on 7 September. Actually, after the recent series, she got very little time for rest, due to which she is feeling very sleepy.
