Genz protesters proposed Sushila Karki
After the resignation of KP Sharma Oli, 73 -year -old Sushila Karki was given the command after several days of political uncertainty. Genz protesters proposed his name to the Army Chief. However, President Ramchandra Paudel was repeatedly asking for the constitution to consider his name. He said that the crisis will have to be resolved only by staying within the scope of the Constitution. In fact, in the Constitution of Nepal, the former Justice is not allowed to hold a political position, but the President had to bow down to the demand of the agitators and on September 12, Sushila Karki was sworn in.
Sushila Karki accepted this demand of Genz protesters
1- The demand for holding elections between 6 and 12 months in Nepal has been accepted.
2- The Parliament of Nepal has been dissolved, now the command of Nepal is in the hands of Sushila Karki.
3- Government with representation of both civil and army.
4- Powerful Judicial Commission should be formed to investigate the property of old parties and leaders.
5-There should be an independent and fair investigation into the violence against the protesters during the movement. People affected by this should get justice.
