Tesla has finally entered the Indian market with the launch of model Y. The company introduces two variants of this electric SUV. There are many features in this vehicle that can attract customers towards the brand. The brand will provide RWD (rear-wheel drive) and long-range RWD variants of this car in India. The initial price of the RWD variant will be Rs 59.89 lakh, while the long-range version of the car will be priced at Rs 67.89 lakh.

This causes the on-road price of RWD version to Rs 61.07 lakh. At the same time, the on-road price of the long-range version will be Rs 69.15 lakh. According to the official website of the brand, it includes a administration and service fee of Rs 50,000, including 18 percent GST. With this, the brand is offering several customization options and ad-ons, leading to changes in on-road prices. For example, to take FSD (full-self driving) as add-on, consumers will have to spend an additional Rs 6 lakh.

Tesla is famous for its FSD capacity. India’s roads are not yet fully ready for automatic driving, but with FSD, drivers get all advanced driver support systems that make the daily journey safe and less tedious. The long range variant claims to cover a distance of up to 622 km once charged, while the standard rear-wheel drive version covers a distance of 500 km, making it a great drive between highways and cities as well.

The model Y will have many new updates. It will have better quality content, better fit and finish, and will get a premium feel inside the cabin. Tesla’s prestigious 15.4-inch Central Touchscreen shattered on the dashboard and handles almost every function. The back seat also has a 7.2 -inch screen so that people sitting behind can enjoy entertainment or adjust the settings without harassing the driver. The cabin provides extra comfort with the powered reclineer function.
