‘This is like a head on the stone’, what did Jitan Ram Manjhi say on Rahul Gandhi’s vote rights journey?

The Congress started the Voter Adhikar Yatra from Sasaram in Bihar on Sunday (August 17, 2025). During this, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi attacked BJP and RSS fiercely. The big statement of Union Minister Jeetan Ram Manjhi has come out on this visit of Congress.

Talking to news agency ANI on Sunday, the Union Minister said that you are giving importance to this visit, but this is not the journey. It is like banging the head on the stone. Why are they doing this journey? What do they want? That 10-15 lakh people who have died and whose names are in the voter list, should not be removed?

Should the names of fake voters not be removed?- Manjhi
Jitan Ram Manjhi said that there are 20 lakh people who have no idea, who are fake voters, should not their names be removed? Whose name is in 4 places, its name should not be removed?

Attacking Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and former CM Lalu Yadav, Jitan Ram Manjhi said that this is a continuous process of the Election Commission. It was also done in 2003 and was also done on Nehru ji’s time. This process will continue to happen even further. He further said that who is afraid of the purification of the voter list in India? We know that when Lalu ji was in power, fake voters were made in every constituency and they won the elections on the basis of that, whatever existence he has even today is on the strength of fake voters.
