On the one hand, a tariff is being imposed on tariffs against India, making vomiting rhetoric against India, on the other hand, India is again talking about signing a deal with America again, hoping that everything will be fine and saying that by November, there will be a bilateral deal between America and India. This statement is not of any officer but the Commerce Minister of the country, Piyush Goyal, who is saying that all is well.
At the Annual Global Investor Conference, Piyush Goyal said that I hope that things will get better quickly and we will make a bilateral agreement with the US by November, which our two officials had talked about in February 2025. But the question is, how because Piyush Goyal’s statement came a day after Trump’s statement, in which Trump wrote on social media site Truth Social that India has offered to zero his tariff, but it is too late now.
Trump also described his business relationship with India as a unilateral relationship and in such a situation, when the US is talking about closing all the doors, then what is the reason for Piyush Goyal’s expectation that everything will be fine.
The rest of the Trump is now talking about putting tariffs on those medicines, which are still discount. This tariff is coming to the tariff imposed on India. That is, unacceptable pharma companies may have to suffer the biggest losses from Trump Tariff, because the rate of tariff on them can be up to 200 percent.
The remaining cancer has been completed by the SCO Summit, in which Prime Minister Modi’s meeting with Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin has made Trump so much that now Trump has started seeing all the enemies. Trump’s business advisor Peter Navaro is chanting a different raga.
All this is happening when there was going to be a bilateral talks between India and America on August 25, which did not happen nor a separate date has been announced for this conversation. Despite this, if Piyush Goyal is expecting everything to recover, then we also have to expect that everything will be fine. If all is not well then how many jobs will go, how many factories will be closed and how many thousand crores will be lost, it starts to shudder only by thinking.
