Vaishali Rameshbabu won the title of FIDE Grand Swiss for the second consecutive time, PM Modi congratulated

Indian Grandmaster Vaishali Rameshbabu won the FID Grand Swiss tournament on Monday by playing her last game draw against former women’s world champion Tan Jhongi. This is the first time a player has won this tournament twice. With this victory, Vaishali has confirmed his place in the candidate tournaments. She has now become the third Indian woman player to qualify for candidates after Koneru Hampi and Divya Deshmukh.
