Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi once again accused the Election Commission of ‘vote theft’. In Wayanad, Kerala, Rahul Gandhi again reiterated that soon a hydrogen bomb would break. He said that we have strong evidence of this.
Rahul Gandhi said, ‘CID investigation is going on in Karnataka. CID has asked for phone numbers. Dnyanesh Kumar is a CEC, but he has not given the number to the CBI. Police is asking for information, but CEC is not giving information. This is not my statement, the CID has written many letters to the Election Commission.
We will break a hydrogen bomb: Rahul Gandhi
The Congress MP said, ‘We have seen in Mahadevpura, we have seen in Aland, we will present such evidence, which will prove that Narendra Modi has stolen the vote. We will break a hydrogen bomb because we have evidence. We have 100 percent proof.
Rahul mentioned Aland and Rajura seat
During the press conference on Thursday, Rahul Gandhi claimed that 6,018 votes were removed in Aland constituency. Rahul said, ‘We do not know how many votes were removed in the 2023 elections. Probably this number is more than 6,018. He said that the case of votes delete in Arat was caught by chance.
The Congress leader said, ‘I love my democracy, country and constitution very much and will not do any such thing which is not based on facts. Applications were made to remove the names of 6018 voters in Aland Assembly constituency. This was done by targeting Congress voters.
What allegations did Rahul Gandhi make?
Rahul Gandhi claimed that the mobile numbers used to remove the names of voters were from outside Karnataka. He said, ‘CID of Karnataka is investigating this matter. The CID sent 18 letters asking for some information, although this information was not given, because it will be reached from where this campaign is being run.
He also mentioned the Rajura assembly constituency of Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. He said that 6850 names were added to Rajura using this method. In this case, the Election Commission should give full details in a week and if it is not so, then it will be clear that Dnyanesh Kumar is helping ‘vote thieves’. However, the Election Commission also responded to these claims of Rahul Gandhi.
Election Commission response to Rahul Gandhi’s allegations
On behalf of the Election Commission sources, it was said that the allegations made by Rahul Gandhi are wrong and baseless. No vote can be removed online by any common citizen, as Rahul Gandhi has made a misconception. The Election Commission does not remove the vote without giving an opportunity to hear the affected person.
