Rain has become a disaster for the whole country. There has been waterlogging in many places in the capital Delhi. In UP-Bihar, there is a different mood of the weather, there are black clouds at some places and there is strong sunlight. In many districts of UP, a warning has been issued on Friday (September 5, 2025). Talking about the mountains, many mountains are cracking due to rain, due to which the incidents of landslide are coming out.
On one side, the rain is not stopping in Delhi, on the other hand, the danger of floods has also started looming. The rising water level of Yamuna is sleeping people. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of light rain in Delhi even today.
Which districts of UP alert for torrential rain
There is a different mood of the weather in Uttar Pradesh. Most districts of UP are expected to get relief from rain, due to which the temperature can be increased and humid. Alert of torrential rain has been issued in districts like Ghaziabad, Noida and Baghpat. At the same time, there may be showers with rain or thunderstorms in East UP.
This morning, Etawah, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Banda, Fatehpur, Unnao, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Kannauj, Unnao, Sambhal, Badaun, Bareilly and Pilibhit can see light to moderate rain. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms in some places. There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in the western part of UP from 6 to 9 September.
However, on September 9, alert for heavy rains has been issued at some places in East UP. Talking about the temperature, there is no possibility of any major change in the maximum and minimum temperature in the state for the next 5 days.
Warning of heavy rain and thunderclap in Bihar
Talking about Bihar, a warning of heavy rains and thunderstorms has been issued in Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Supaul and adjoining districts, due to which people have been advised to be vigilant.
Himachal and Uttarakhand’s condition
The weather is likely to be normal in Himachal Pradesh today. No warning has been issued at the moment and a slight increase in temperature can be seen. In most parts of Uttarakhand, rain is expected to get relief from rain, but heavy rain alert has been issued in hilly districts like Nainital and Bageshwar.
Landslide in Jammu and Kashmir
In Jammu and Kashmir, there was some relief from stopping rain on Thursday, but the situation has not become normal. In the morning landslide at the Ratale Hydropower Project Site in Kishtwar, 5 people were injured in the debris. At the same time, the embankment broke in the Junipora area of Bargam due to the rise in the water level of the Jhelum river in the Kashmir Valley, which entered the surrounding settlements.
