Weather Update: Torrential rains in UP on the first day, red alert for 44 districts, Bihar-MP including other states

The monsoon phase continues across the country. From the morning of Monday 1 September, there has been strong rains in many parts of UP and electricity is also shining. Rivers in UP, Bihar are in spate due to rain. There are flood -like conditions in many areas. At the same time, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in Delhi-NCR today. There is a possibility of rain in the eastern part of the capital, southeastern part and Central Delhi. Yellow alert has been issued for these areas.

Torrential rain in UP, red alert for 44 districts
Alert for torrential rain has been issued in Uttar Pradesh today. Heavy rains are likely in Mathura, Hamirpur, Lalitpur, Agra, Aligarh, Bijnor, Meerut, Mainpuri, Etawah, Pilibhit, Moradabad, Firozabad, Mahoba, Jalaun, Jhansi. Apart from this, heavy rain has also been issued in Ballia, Bahraich, Badaun, Chandauli, Farrukhabad, Gonda, Ghazipur, Hardoi, Kanpur Nagar, Kasganj, Lakhimpur Kheri, Meerut, Mirjapur, Muzaffarnagar, Prayagraj, Shahjahanpur and flood affected Varanasi.

According to meteorologist Atul Kumar, there is a possibility of more rain than normal in most parts of UP in September. At the same time, rain in some areas of Northeast UP can be less than normal. A red alert has been issued for 44 districts.

Turn rain warning in Bihar
Bihar may receive heavy rains again from September 1. According to the Meteorological Department, people have been asked to beware of people in Darbhanga, Kishanganj, Sitamarhi, Araria, Madhubani and Supaul. Nawada, Gaya, Jamui and Aurangabad districts of South Bihar are also expected to have heavy rains, while floods in Bhojpur, Khagaria, Begusarai and Bhagalpur have increased people’s troubles.

Alert in Madhya Pradesh
Alert for torrential rain has been issued in Madhya Pradesh today. A warning of heavy rains has been issued in Sihor, Dewas, Khargone, Ujjain, Burhanpur, Betul, Chhindwara, Harda, Balaghat, Seoni, Khandwa. During this time people have been asked to be careful.

There is no reduction in the mountains
Many parts of Jammu and Kashmir are raining continuously. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of torrential rain on Monday. Recently, three people died while two others went missing after a cloudburst in a remote village in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of heavy rains in Kangra, Mandi, Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Sirmaur in Himachal on Monday. Apart from this, Orange alert has been issued in Chamba, Kullu, Shimla, Kinnaur and Lahul Spiti and Yellow alert in Solan.

In Uttarakhand, a warning of rain rain has been issued again on 1 September. Torrential rains in Dehradun, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Nainital, Rudraprayag, Pauri Garhwal, Haridwar can increase the difficulties of people.
